The Delhi government in India plans to install 152 educational digital kiosks across cluster and district offices under the Samagra Shiksha initiative in the 2025-26 fiscal year, according to a EdexLive report.
Of the 152, 136 will be placed in Cluster Resource Centre Coordinator offices and 16 in District Urban Resource Centre Coordinator offices, typically located in centrally situated schools, with one kiosk allocated per district office.
Samagra Shiksha is a nationwide school education program run by the government of India to integrate and strengthen education from pre-primary through grade 12.
The kiosks are intended to expand access to curriculum-based content, support teachers and improve monitoring of education programs. Officials said the initiative will promote experiential and inquiry-based learning, enhance digital literacy and provide a centralized platform for sharing project materials, notifications and departmental updates with students, teachers and administrators.
