Self-service lottery terminals are among the purchasing options for Montana Millionaire tickets, but technical problems disrupted the game's sales shortly after they began Sunday, Nov. 1, according to a KPAX News report. Tickets are available through lottery retailers and self-service devices throughout Montana.

Sales opened at 5:30 a.m., and the Montana Lottery first acknowledged problems on social media around 5:59 a.m. An update posted around 7:56 a.m. said the disruption continued and staff were working to restore service. The report did not identify the cause or provide an estimated restoration time.

This year's game offers 720,000 tickets at $20 each and six $1 million grand prizes. A $250,000 drawing is scheduled for Nov. 30, followed by the grand prize drawings and a $20,000 Player's Club second-chance drawing Dec. 28. Ticket sales end Dec. 27 unless the limited supply sells out earlier.
