Palm Beach County adds four vehicle registration renewal kiosks

The Palm Beach County Tax Collector's Office has installed four MV Express vehicle registration renewal kiosks at Publix stores, bringing its countywide network to 17 locations. The machines allow motorists to renew registrations and receive printed registration documents and decals within minutes, according to a press release.

The additions are at Fifth Avenue Shops and Polo Club Shops in Boca Raton, Delray Square in Delray Beach and Polo Grounds Mall in West Palm Beach. Tax Collector Anne M. Gannon said Neumo, the company managing the kiosks, has supported the office's efforts to expand access to registration renewal services.

Motorists need their registration renewal notice PIN or their license plate number and the first registered owner's date of birth, along with a credit or debit card. Transactions carry a 2.3% credit card service fee and a $4.50 convenience fee, which the vendor collects rather than the tax collector's office.
