Residents of Flint, Michigan, can now access a range of police services through a new self-service kiosk installed in the lobby of the Flint Police Department, according to a WNEM News report. The kiosk allows users to file eligible police reports, obtain crash reports, submit crime tips and upload required documents without needing direct assistance from department staff.
In addition to reporting and records services, the kiosk can print forms and volunteer applications, provide information about career opportunities with the department and connect residents with other police resources. City officials said the self-service platform is intended to streamline access to services, improve convenience and help residents complete common transactions more quickly.
