FuelRod has installed its second-generation portable charging kiosks at Knott's Berry Farm in Southern California, according to a press release. The service allows visitors to buy portable battery packs or exchange eligible depleted units for fully charged replacements while using their phones for digital tickets, park maps, food orders, payments and photos.

The kiosks offer two charging products. The new USB-C FuelRod provides 20% more power than the original model and includes cables and adapters. The MAX10 has a 10,000-milliampere-hour capacity, wireless charging, MagSafe compatibility and two USB-C ports.

Batteries purchased at Knott's Berry Farm are eligible for exchanges at participating FuelRod kiosks in the company's nationwide network. FuelRod also operates kiosks at airports, museums, hotels, health care facilities, convention centers, shopping destinations and other entertainment venues.
