ChargePoint installs overhead EV charging system at Portland airport

ChargePoint has installed a rapid electric-vehicle charging system at Portland International Airport in Oregon to support rental-car fleets, according to a press release. ChargePoint's fleet-management software provides remote monitoring, troubleshooting and real-time control of charging activity. The system can adjust charging to operational demands, helping rental companies prepare vehicles more efficiently and improve fleet availability. ChargePoint said the combination of overhead equipment and management software could provide a model for similar airport installations.
