Imageholders develops tablet enclosures for biometric readers

The Slimline+ tablet enclosure from imageholders can now securely enclose biometric readers, according to a press release.

The units securely enclose biometric readers within their Shell+, Integrator Pro and now Slimline+ tablet enclosures. This ensures that any mount or tablet size can be securely enclosed within one of imageholders' tablet kiosks.

The Slimline+ can securely enclose a contactless card reader, scanner or biometric fingerprint reader within the kiosk, which sits flush to any wall or glass surface.

"The Slimline range was originally developed to solely hold tablets flush to the wall," Christian Bossence, imageholders account manager, said in the press release. "We then adapted the enclosure to be suitable to mount to a glass surface, and now have extended the bezel and created a secure holder to hold OEM devices such as contactless card readers, scanners and now biometric fingerprint readers. With the way the market has changed, and as technology continues to evolve, we will continue to adapt and tailor our enclosures to meet market demand."
