Costco tests self-order food kiosks

Costco is testing out self-ordering food kiosks at a few locations, according to FoodBeast. FoodBeast was tipped to one that opened in Tustin, California, and independently confirmed another one in greater Los Angeles, one in Tucson, Arizona and one in Covington, Washington.

A station set up with six ordering terminals is located next to the food court. There is an option to edit the order and an option to pay using a PIN device. The kiosk does not accept cash.

The kiosk prints a receipt that the customer takes to a separate kiosk pick-up window.

A Costco spokesperson declined Kiosk Marketplace's request for comment.
