Clean Mission secures 12 contracts for AI-powered safety kiosk

Clean Mission secured contracts with 12 corporations and industrial facilities within two weeks of launching its artificial intelligence-powered material safety data sheet kiosk, according to a Korea Startup Post report. The South Korean industrial safety company has begun delivering its 21.5-inch kiosks and is discussing additional installations with corporate and public-sector organizations that handle chemicals.

Workers can hold a chemical container's warning label in front of the kiosk's camera, allowing the system to read the text and codes, identify the product and compare the label with the facility's material safety data sheet database. The kiosk can also display original safety documents, provide handling information, print warning labels and help manage chemicals from receipt through disposal.

Clean Mission said the kiosk can integrate with a company's existing enterprise resource planning system and be customized for different chemicals and workplace procedures. Customers may purchase or rent the equipment. CEO Yoon Jong-woon said the system has attracted particular interest from facilities where employees previously created warning labels by hand when transferring chemicals into smaller containers.
