NCR Atleos reported third-quarter net income of $97 million, up from $26 million a year earlier, despite a 2% revenue decline to $1.1 billion. The Atlanta-based ATM technology and services company said recurring sources accounted for 71% of revenue, according to a press release.
Self-service banking revenue fell 2% to $731 million as weaker hardware sales partly offset software and services growth. The segment's adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization increased 7%, supported by ATM outsourcing, software and efficiency improvements.
Network revenue declined 2% to $322 million, which the company attributed to reduced cryptocurrency transaction demand. Companywide adjusted EBITDA, a measure that excludes certain expenses, rose 10% to $241 million.
Atleos said its pending combination with Brink's is expected to close in early January 2027, with regulatory reviews and integration preparations progressing. The company will forgo a quarterly earnings call and financial outlook because of the transaction.
