Virgin Mobile launches Canada-wide kiosk rollout

The new Virgin Mobile VIP membership kiosks, which include both self-service and full-service shopping, are being installed across Canada, according to a press release from figure 3, a design company that designed the mall kiosks.

More than 100 kiosks will be installed, Dale Gago, director of marketing and communications, told Kiosk Marketplace via email. Gago said the kiosk at the Eaton Centre in Toronto will be the premium location. 

The mall space includes window displays and digital messaging. The kiosk is designed to maximize flexibility, where any products or pricing can be easily interchanged by associates based on updated planograms.

Fixed POS systems feature bright backlit interchangeable graphic applications on the surface of the kiosk. Wireless transactions allow for collaborative engagement and screen sharing among customers.

Customers can dive deeper into product offerings through a self-serve kiosk or get one-on-one consultations with an associate.
