Tennessee county installs auto registration kiosks

April 20, 2017

Maury County, Tennessee residents can now renew their car tags in Mt. Pleasant and Spring Hill city halls thanks to the installation of electronic kiosks, according to The Daily Herald.

With the Mt. Pleasant kiosk open for several months and the Spring Hill machine entering into its third week of operation, Maury County Clerk Joey Allen said he expects to see less traffic to Columbia's square by the end of the year.

Each machine will only process renewals, so those who have moved to the county must visit the clerk's office at 10 Public Square in Columbia.
