Retirement community embraces kiosks

February 16, 2011

Noventri Digital Signage Solutions is bringing technology to older adults. The company provides residents, staff and visitors to the Augsburg Lutheran Home and Village in Baltimore County, Maryland, with digital signage and touchscreen technology to teach them about the retirement community.

Augsburg uses the Noventri SF-3000 Creation Station and Noventri SF-3000 Player Station with touchscreen interface in order to provide educational videos, staff videos, devotional videos and various campus messages.

"We are very satisfied with the service and support we have received from Noventri," said Ausburg's Information Systems Manager Jerome Potter in a press release. "We are also pleased with the Noventri SF-3000 digital signage technology and touch interface that powers the kiosks."

The kiosks currently provide more than 62 design pages of content for viewing with 'temporary' marketing pages designed specifically for use when managers take the kiosks on the road for marketing events.
