Delaware County, Pennsylvania, is continuing to expand its "Test & Go" public health kiosk program with additional installations at a transit hub and community college, providing residents with free, around-the-clock access to health tests and wellness supplies through self-service kiosks located throughout the county, according to the county's website. The touchscreen kiosks dispense products such as Narcan, fentanyl and xylazine test strips, STI and HIV test kits, condoms, feminine hygiene products, first-aid kits and other public health resources at no cost. The county updated the program this month, highlighting additional locations and available services.

The kiosks are installed at several high-traffic locations, including government facilities, wellness centers, a community college campus and a major transit hub. Users can select products anonymously, while certain health tests can be registered directly at the kiosk and returned via a collection system for laboratory analysis. Results are typically delivered electronically within 24 to 48 hours. County officials say the program is designed to reduce barriers to healthcare access and improve health equity by making services available outside traditional clinic hours.

Originally launched through grant funding, the initiative has evolved into a broader public health distribution network that combines testing, harm-reduction resources and preventive care products in a kiosk format. County health officials describe the machines as a convenient way to connect residents with critical health services, particularly those related to substance-use prevention, sexual health and infectious disease testing.
