A second public health vending machine will be installed in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, later this month, according to a Seehafer News report, expanding around-the-clock access to free health and safety resources for local residents.

The Northeastern Wisconsin Area Health Education Center will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 23 at the Two Rivers Fire Department's Monroe Street station, where the machine will be located.

The vending machine provides confidential, 24/7 access to public health supplies, including Narcan, the opioid overdose reversal medication, as well as other resources that can be adjusted to meet changing community needs.

NEWAHEC said the fire department was selected because of its strong community presence, high visibility and ongoing commitment to public health and safety. Refreshments will be provided by Grow It Forward during the opening event.
