El Paso County, Texas, has expanded its Tourist Kiosk Program with the launch of an AI-powered interactive kiosk at the El Paso Zoo and Botanical Gardens, according to a KVIA News report. County officials unveiled the system June 11 as part of an effort to connect residents and visitors with attractions, activities and historic sites across the region. The kiosk provides information on museums, trails and other destinations through bilingual touchscreen and voice navigation.

The zoo installation is the third kiosk in the county's network, joining existing units at Fort Bliss and the Los Portales Museum and Information Center in San Elizario. Users can receive recommendations for local attractions and create downloadable digital postcards via a "Take a Photo with Me" feature that features zoo-themed backgrounds.

County officials said the technology is intended to encourage visitors to explore a broader range of destinations throughout El Paso County. City Representative Josh Acevedo said the kiosk could help introduce visitors attending major events and concerts to both the zoo and other attractions in the area.
