Describe your current role.
As Director of Sales for Fuel & Convenience, QSR and Channel & Alliance Partners in North America at Diebold Nixdorf, I work with retailers, restaurant operators, and partners to help modernize their businesses through technology. My focus is on building long-term relationships, understanding customer challenges, and connecting organizations with solutions that improve efficiency, customer experience and profitability. I also lead a talented team that is passionate about helping clients navigate change and identify new opportunities for growth.
What inspired you to work in your industry?
I've always been fascinated by how technology can solve real business problems. Early in my career, I worked with organizations across multiple industries and saw firsthand how the right technology could transform operations, improve customer experiences and create measurable business value. The opportunity to combine innovation, strategy, and people has kept me energized throughout my career.
What do you enjoy most about your current role?
What I enjoy most is helping customers achieve their goals and be successful. Every retailer and restaurant operator has unique challenges, and I enjoy working collaboratively to find solutions that make a meaningful difference. I also value the opportunity to mentor team members and build strong partnerships that create lasting success for everyone involved.
What industry trends do you think don't get enough attention and why?
There is more convergence happening between different retail formats. While artificial intelligence and automation rightfully receive significant attention, I believe the importance of strong partnerships and ecosystem collaboration is often overlooked. No company succeeds alone. Retailers increasingly need technology partners, software providers, and service organizations working together to deliver seamless customer experiences and operational excellence. The organizations that build open, collaborative ecosystems will be best positioned for long-term success.
What advice would you give someone just starting out in your industry?
Focus on understanding your customers before trying to sell to them. Listen carefully, learn their business objectives, and build trust over time. Technology and products will change, but strong relationships, curiosity, and a commitment to delivering value never go out of style.
What do you do to have fun outside of work?
I enjoy spending time outdoors and with family and friends. I also have a strong interest in environmental sustainability and enjoy opportunities to learn about conservation and responsible stewardship.
Is there anything else you would like to tell people about yourself or your company?
At Diebold Nixdorf, we are passionate about helping retailers and restaurant operators adapt to a rapidly changing marketplace. Our success starts with our people, our partnerships, and our commitment to helping customers achieve measurable business outcomes. I'm proud to be part of a company that focuses on innovation while never losing sight of the importance of relationships and trust.
