Wendy’s CEO: Self-serve kiosks boost sales, customer satisfaction

Todd Penegor, CEO of Wendy’s, recently told The Deal that the company’s 300 self-serve kiosks are delivering higher average checks and improving customer satisfaction scores, and that the company will continue to install the kiosks at more stores. He said customers are able to customize their meals at the kiosks.  

He also said that "fast-pass" drive thru lanes will be another part of the ordering process. Fast-pass allows the customer place an order on a mobile device and pick it up the order at a drive-thru window in a designated lane.
