Wavetec has introduced its F-25 kiosk family, a line of self-service terminals designed to improve queue management and customer check-in at banks, government agencies, healthcare facilities, telecommunications offices and retail locations, according to a press release.
The lineup includes the 12-inch F-25 and 19-inch F-25 Plus, both designed to connect in-person service with digital channels such as mobile applications, websites and WhatsApp. The company said the kiosks are available worldwide and can be configured to accommodate different customer service requirements.
The kiosks offer optional accessibility features, including audio instructions through headphone connections and tactile controls for users with visual impairments. Additional capabilities include barcode and QR code scanning, fingerprint recognition, chip-card readers and cameras supporting facial recognition. The F-25 Plus features an optional microphone array for voice interactions and dual thermal printers that automatically switch between paper rolls to prevent interruptions in ticket dispensing. Both models run Windows 11 Pro and support integration with existing enterprise technology systems.
The F-25 family also integrates with Wavetec's Nexia artificial intelligence platform, which can identify returning customers, provide assistance through AI-powered avatars and direct visitors to appropriate service personnel. The platform connects with analytics tools designed to help organizations forecast demand, manage staffing and improve customer flow. Wavetec said the kiosks can support applications ranging from motor vehicle office check-ins to hospital patient registration and payment collection.
