Supply vending machines support employee wellness programs

Supply vending machines are playing a bigger role in corporate wellness initiatives, according to an article in Corporate Wellness Magazine.

Mike Pitts, president of IVM Inc., a vending machine manufacturer, gave several examples of how machines are providing tools to support the growing corporate wellness industry. 

One client, Facebook, originally approached IVM to provide machines that vend office tech supplies, such as keyboards and lockers that dispense cell phones for developers to beta test. 

Facebook then looked to the supply vending company to provide a solution to manage its on-campus bike repair shop to encourage bike commuting to employees at the company headquarters.

The machine sends the invoicing data directly to Facebook so they can invoice the bike repair shop directly.
