SeePoint Technologies announced that the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution deployed its freestanding VantagePoint Light kiosks to showcase the Institution's research at onsite exhibits and offsite locations.
The portable, podium-style kiosk is slender and carries a small footprint at 2 square feet of space, the announcement said. Additionally, all system components are housed within the durable plug-and-play unit and require no assembly.
Other features of the kiosk include an intuitive, user-facing touchscreen at a height that is optimum for both child and adult users, the announcement said. Additionally, the face of the VantagePoint Light can display customized graphics, logos and messaging, which can be swapped out and exchanged as the kiosk moves locations.
"These kiosks are very easy to use and present a professional appearance," said Kathy Patterson, manager of WHOI's Ocean Science Exhibit Center. "I have the ability to re-use the kiosk, move it and take it somewhere else. When the kiosk is delivered to an exhibit, all the staff needs to do is plug it in and turn it on."
"At SeePoint, we emphasize support," SeePoint CEO Jonathan Arfin said. "Our TSS Help Desk is the first stop for any issue, and we have over 3,500 certified technicians in North America. In addition to our warranty options, we can customize support programs to make sure our clients always feel completely satisfied."
