Passport Technology brings multipurpose kiosk to casino floors

Passport Technology is showcasing OmniStream, a self-service kiosk that combines several casino cash transactions in one machine, at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas. Six cash cassettes can hold a combined 18,000 notes. Passport says operators can vary transaction pricing by player tier, time or event, while its Points2Pay feature allows guests to pay transaction fees with loyalty points.

The kiosk runs on Passport's DataStream transaction processing system. Passport CEO Chad Boynak said customer feedback helped shape OmniStream as the company invested in new products over the past year.
