Retail systems provider Mainstreet Inc. has announced a partnership with self-service kiosk manufacturer AML to provide interactive customer engagement technology, according to a press release. The goal is to create an omnichannel solution for retaillers.

AML kiosks have a variety of functions including product information, loyalty programs and search tools. Mainstreet plans to utilize these kiosks and provide its own solutions to improve sales and simplify customer engagement technology.

"Mainstreet, like AML, is focused on the technology needs of retail stores. We share the same business culture and client approach. We're also both located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area which provides us with great collaboration opportunities to co-deliver some very strong store solutions," Mainstreet Vice President of Client Engagement Terry Kasen said in the release. "Together we're focused on interactive self-service kiosk offerings that enable retailers to drive multiple applications with extremely sharp messaging they can control. Plus AML's product life cycles last 7 years or more, providing our retail clients with unmatched investment protection, consistency and standardization in their install base with a kiosk system that is robust and reliable."
