Key kiosks unlock the doors to lockouts

KeyMe introduced their next generation retail kiosks for deployment in more than 100 locations across the U.S.

KeyMe introduced their next generation retail kiosks for deployment in more than 100 locations across the U.S.

The New York City Company manufactures kiosks that allow customers to store a digital copy of their keys in a cloud-based application. Users who find themselves locked out of their vehicles can access the copy at the self-service kiosks and print a spare key in under 30 seconds, the company said.

The kiosks can copy keys both with and without transponder chips.
