Hanoi airport launches biometric check-in kiosks for domestic travelers

Participation is voluntary, and conventional checkpoints staffed by airport employees remain available. Because recognition failures and other technical problems may require manual verification, passengers are advised to carry valid physical identification and allow additional time during busy travel periods. Future phases could extend the system to other airports and incorporate biometric bag-drop and international boarding services.
