Digi Ventus has renewed its Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard 4.0.1 certification for another year, according to a press release. The company is listed as Ventus Networks on Visa's Global Registry of Service Providers, with its next validation scheduled for Aug. 31, 2027.

PCI DSS establishes security requirements for organizations that store, process or transmit payment-card information. Version 4.0.1 expands protections beyond those in the previous standard, including broader multifactor authentication, automated reviews of audit logs, inventories of cryptographic protocols and additional safeguards for e-commerce scripts and online payment pages.

Digi Ventus said the renewal confirms that its payment-security practices meet the standard's current requirements. The updated framework places greater emphasis on continuous monitoring and risk-based controls rather than relying primarily on periodic compliance reviews.
