AVT intros office supply kiosk

AVT Inc., provider of automated retailing systems, announced the launch of its self-service office supply kiosk, built for Peachtree Supplies. 

The "Office Products To Go" kiosk contains commonly used office products and will be located in buildings with the highest demand for supplies. 

"Many businesses run out of some sort of supply and need a replacement in a hurry," AVT CEO James Winsor said in the company announcement. "This typically means sending someone to drive to the nearest office supply store, or placing an order and waiting a day or two for delivery. Now with 'Office Products To Go,' businesses can get what they need right away, with no delays, no lost productivity and no delivery charges."

IHL research predicts the automated retail industry will grow to more than $1.1 trillion by 2015.
