Epson intros label printing station

The printing technology manufacturer Epson America introduced yesterday the ColorWorks C3400-LT Color Label Terminal. The integrated, standalone labeling station combines a high-speed CPU, LCD touchscreen and MicroPiezo inkjet label printer.

The ColorWorks station is intended for environments such as retail, logistics, manufacturing, event ticketing or any other environment that requires user data terminal interaction and color labels on demand, the company press release said.

Additionally, the unit has the components needed to create a turnkey solution kiosk. By adding software and desired USB accessories, the ColorWorks C3400-LT is ready to run critical applications while the unit's dust and water resistant design ensures reliable, self-service labeling where space is tight.

"This terminal has been designed very thoughtfully," said Neil Edmonds, senior marketing manager for Epson America's Business Systems Division. "Customers looking to simplify equipment will appreciate the integrated form factor and compactness of this unit."
