Upgrade enhances accessibility and usability of industry-leading self-ordering application.
December 18, 2018
Hoffman Estates, Ill. (December 18, 2018) – ADUSA, Inc. today announced that a new release of its Qi.SO™ Self-Order Kiosk Application Software will become available in January 2019. The new release contains several key enhancements to the industry-leading software product.
According to Juan C. Perez, CEO of ADUSA, Inc., “We think that accessibility, multi-language support and content management are key areas that are underserved by software that is on the market today, so we’ve focused our efforts for this release on enhancing these areas of our overall application suite. We also made a number of enhancements to the system’s UI/UX, as well as its admin capabilities.”
Two enhancements that are part of this release but will be available in the February 2019 timeframe are integration of the application with a popular IoT Device Management platform, and, in light of the recent news of harmful bacteria found on touchscreens, a new admin feature that will prompt managers when it is time to momentarily take the kiosk offline for cleaning and sanitation.
The company also said that included in the new release of the software is adherence to the requirements of the EZ Access® accessibility standard, along with integration of Storm Interface’s assistive technology products.
