Zytonic develops touchscreen solution for Newpark Solutions parking kiosks

Zytonic has integrated its Projected Capacitive Technology touchscreen solution with the Newpark Solutions parking kiosk, the Newpark Fusion GTS to create a ticket-less payment option.

Zytonic has integrated its Projected Capacitive Technology touchscreen solution with the Newpark Solutions parking kiosk, the Newpark Fusion GTS to create a ticketless payment option.

The Fusion GTS uses high-definition automatic plate-number recognition to record vehicle entry and exit and gives users a ticketless payment method, according to a Zytonic press release. All users have to do is select their method of payment and the duration of their stay on the kiosk.

Zytonic touch sensors are designed for outdoor use and sensitive touch. The company also attempts to combine functions to reduce the overall size of the kiosk.

"We are delighted that Newpark Solutions selected Zytronic to provide touchscreen technology for their innovative parking terminal," Zytonic Sales and Marketing Director Ian Crosby said in the release. "Our PCT touch sensors are widely used in unattended self-service applications and will ensure that operators of these terminals can be confident of a dependable, reliable performance and a competitive total cost of system ownership."
