Wayfinding kiosks give kids hotline to Santa

December 18, 2017

Wayfinding kiosks in New York City and London are offering a hotline to Santa Claus, according to Endgadget. The LinkNYC kiosks in New York City and the InLink kiosks in London and Leeds in the U.K. offer an app that lets kids leave their requests to Santa with an answering machine. Kids can also monitor their gifts using the Google Santa Tracker app.

The kiosks provide free domestic calls, USB charging ports, maps and a red 911 button.

LinkNYC is provided by New York City and CityBridge, a New York City consortium that includes Intersection, a provider of out-of-home advertising and media technology.

London’s InLink kiosks are operated by a partnership between BT, the telecom, Intersection and Primesight, a U.K. outdoor advertising agency.
