USConnect and VendScreen agreement: Customers receive special touchscreen rates and services

USConnect, a nationwide independent food supplier, has partnered with VendScreen Inc., a touchscreen payment technology company, to provide products and services for USConnect affiliates. VendScreen signed a Strategic Supplier agreement that allows affiliates to receive group rates on touchscreen merchandise through June 30, 2016, according to a company announcement.

"We're in the business of connecting people, products, information and machinery," Jeff Whitacre, CEO and founder of USConnect, said in the announcement. "VendScreen touchscreen payment technology enables them to do just that, modernizing vending machines with a touchscreen interface, cashless payment choices and detailed nutritional information that today's consumers are demanding."

Customers of USConnect using VendScreen technology are eligible for management, monitoring and wireless services at fixed monthly prices, decreased cashless processing costs and select device pricing.
