Tablet kiosk manufacturer Tryten Technologies has released its new Liberty iPad kiosk, designed to provide a balance between security and convenience, according to a Tryten press release.
The Liberty iPad kiosk is design to be bolted or mounted to a countertop with a pull force of 300 pounds. In order to release the kiosk, users can use Tryten infrared keys, which are assigned one of 16.7 million random security codes. After 12 hours, code access expires to prevent lost or stolen keys from being used for theft.
"The Liberty is a complete kiosk system, combining charging and locking in one system," Tryten business development manager Cameron Scott said in the release. "The kiosk is designed with a clean and straightforward aesthetic so that it fits perfectly in any environment, providing ultimate freedom and flexibility to the user."
The Liberty iPad kiosk is available now for $299.99.
