Tres Picosos brings hot Mexican food kiosk to Minneapolis-St. Paul airport

Denver-based Tres Picosos has partnered with Evolvending to offer food from its Tres Locos brand at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, according to a press release. The automated kiosk is in Terminal 1's Concourse G and gives travelers access to hot meals around the clock, the companies announced Sept. 22.

The menu includes bacon breakfast, chicken fajita, picadillo beef and pork carnitas burritos, along with street-style tacos. Jane Hartgrove of Tres Picosos said the kiosk lets customers get hot food "even when the rest of the world is closed."

"One of the strengths of our platform is our ability to bring together a diverse portfolio of brands that reflects how travelers want to eat today," Valentina Ellison, CEO of Evolvending, said in the release. "Tres Locos is a fantastic brand that delivers authentic, high-quality Mexican cuisine. We're excited to add one of America's favorite food categories to our platform while giving our airport partners even greater flexibility to meet evolving traveler preferences."

Tres Locos food is also available through Evolvending's EvolveCAFÉ locations at airports in Boston, Charleston, South Carolina, and southwest Florida. Tres Picosos said it plans to expand to additional airports in the coming months.
