TouchMate intros business solutions tablet

Touchmate, an Austin, Texas-based provider of kiosks and self-service equipment, has launched its TouchPad business tablet, according to a company announcement.

The TouchPad, built on Hewlett Packard technology with an Intel 4GB processor, is designed for access to Wi-Fi and includes a 2D Imaging Bar Code Scanner and card reader. The tablet has printing capabilities and contains TouchPad Business Manager Software that allows lockdown, remote monitoring and software maintenance.

TouchMate sees TouchPad as a business solution for health care, food service, entertainment and vending industries that, along with the rest of TouchMate’s line of self-service kiosks and point-of-service stations, creates a comprehensive offering of mobile and self-servicee solutions, the announcement said.
