Sunshine Coast, Australia has now installed touchscreen kiosks around caravan parks to deliver information to visitors and give local businesses an opportunity to advertise their products.

Sunshine Coast, Australia has now installed touchscreen kiosks around caravan parks to deliver information to visitors and give local businesses an opportunity to advertise their products, according to areportby Sunshine Coast Daily.

The touchscreen acts us an interactive directory, which showcases various activities, attractions, restaurants and local businesses. It is designed to look like a large iPhone, and also enables users to email themselves a map of the area.

Previously, businesses simply had to utilize brochures in the area, but now with the touchscreen they can simply upload the information to it. "It just looks like a big iPhone," said Peter Segger, manager of Dicky Beach Family Holiday Park. "The quality and the clarity of it looks excellent. You can access it outside of office hours which will be a big benefit."

The touchscreen kiosks are currently available at four parks: Coolum Beach Holiday Park; Cotton Tree Holiday Park; Moolooaba Beach; and Dicky Beach Family Holiday Park.
