Self-service pharmacy kiosks deploying in Florida

Pharmabox Inc, a provider of self-service pharmacy kiosks, has begun to deploy in Florida.

Pharmabox Inc, a provider of self-service pharmacy kiosks, has begun to deploy in Florida. Known as the Pharmabox Automated Pharmacy, it is designed to carry 140 top-selling medicine and merchandise products found at retailers, according to a Pharmabox press release.

Pharmabox plans to install its kiosks in a variety of locations including airports, universities, bus stations, businesses, malls and isolated regions where retail stores are not quickly available.

"We are very excited that these brand new units are in Florida," Pharmabox Founder and CEO Alejandro Rodriguez said in the release. "This is where our corporate headquarters are located, and we are proud to have these amazing systems in our own neighborhoods, where they will provide multiple benefits to the people of South Florida."
