PRN acquires Belgium-based digital signage provider

December 28, 2017

PRN LLC, a digital media solutions provider, recently acquired iDKLIC, a digital marketing and signage provider in the healthcare industry based in Brussels, Belgium, according to a press release. iDKLI C will operate within PRN's newly formed PRN Health Ltd. division as part of its current wellness product offerings. PRN currently provides interactive pharmacy displays and touchscreens for wellness retailers.

Jean-Charles Figoni, founder and CEO of iDKLIC, left, welcomes Cecile Jodogne, Secretary of State of the Brussels-Capital region in charge of foreign trade; Eric Gabrys, trade and investment commissioner at Brussels Invest and Export; Kevin Carbone, CEO of PRN LLC; and Miriam Taub, chief creative officer and founder of iDKLIC.

The acquisition will give PRN access to a platform for serving independent pharmacies and chains in North America.

iDKLIC provides pharmacies in Europe with content management, digital signage solutions and interactive digital advertising networks. Its Pharmaseen platform currently operates in Belgium, France, Ireland and Luxembourg.

The partnership will give PRN, which provides point-of-sale and advertising solutions to convenience stores and pharmacies, an entry into the health and wellness market in Europe.

"Since 2006, our company has been receiving a positive response from advertisers and customers," Jean-Charles Figoni, iDKLIC's co-founder and CEO, said in the press release. "Our concept is established in over 1,250 pharmacies, reaching 2 million impressions per day. We are looking forward to further expanding the number of pharmacies and advertisers in Europe."
