Princeton Power releases 'kiosk-style' charging station

Princeton Power Systems announced the availability of its newest product line, the V2X Fast-Charging Electric Vehicle Stations in 15kW and 30kW models, CA-15 and CA-30 respectively.

Princeton Power Systems, designer and manufacturer of technology products and embedded software for energy management, micro-grid operations and electric vehicle charging, announced the availability of its newest product line, the V2X Fast-Charging Electric Vehicle Stations in 15kW and 30kW models, CA-15 and CA-30 respectively.

The CA-15/30 is a kiosk-style charging stations featuring a touch panel and CHAdeMO-compliant hose and connector. The charging station enables bi-directional discharging options for "Vehicle-to-Grid" or "Vehicle-to-Building" operations, the company said in the announcement.

The V2X product line is certified to UL 1741 and UL 2202, allowing safe operation, power export and electric grid connectivity.

Features of the V2X Charging Stations include:

  • CHAdeMO Fast-charging standard compliant
  • Vehicle-to-Home / Business / Grid services
  • UL 1741 Listed (for grid-tied and off-grid or 'islanding' operation)
  • UL 2202 Listed (EV charging)
