Posiflex's newest POS terminal is also a mini kiosk

Posiflex has announced the launch of its new POS multitouch screen terminal, the HS2310.

Posiflex has announced the launch of its new POS multitouch screen terminal, the HS2310. The terminal features a 10-inch touchscreen, 3-inch thermal printer, magnetic stripe reader and Wi-Fi. It is 60 percent smaller, "just taller than a wine bottle," and designed to take up less counter space, according to the Hayward, California, company.

The HS2310 contains an Intel D525 dual core 1.8 GHz processor with 4GB of memory and applications for gaming, health care, hospitality, retail and POS services.

"The HS2310 is a perfect platform for the Digital Dining kiosk software used in loyalty programs, food trucks or small quick-service restaurant locations," Senior Business Development Manager for Digital Dining Andre Nataf said in a press release.

Applications include traditional POS for retail kiosks and other small- to medium-sized businesses and mini kiosk capabilities for information, checkout, ordering and loyalty program services.
