Posiflex unveils Android-based POS touchscreen terminal

New Taipei City, Taiwan-based Posiflex has introduced an Android-based version of its XT POS touchscreen terminal series, the fan-free XT-2614E.

The XT-2614E comes with a true-flat, PCAP, bezel-free touchscreen that supports 10-point multitouch. It is built with a thin, curved, foldable base stand. Configuration options include "Full Extended Mode," "Flat Folded Mode" and "Low Profile Mode." It is powered by the ARM-based processor and runs on an Android 4.2.2 system. The XT-2614E is equipped with a 14-inch wide screen (1366 X 768 mm) TFT LCD display.

Its fan-free system is designed to eliminate fan maintenance and enable functioning in harsh environments.
