Picture Mosaics has announced the launch of its Real-Time Interactive Streaming Photo Mosaic Platform 3.0 that the company said uses its most advanced mosaic software to give users "the unique experience of being part of a live mosaic."
The kiosk, targeted for use at live events, enables users to have their photo taken on the spot and watch as it is added live to the stream of photos in a mosaic. Photos are not limited to event participants, as users can also upload images from social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
The mosaic can also be viewed from any HTML5-compatible Web browser, giving the audience the opportunity to view the photo mosaic from anywhere as it's updated in real-time, the announcement said.
Picture Mosaics has provided the kiosks for events by organizations such as Nestle, Tyco, Qlik Tech and Dr. Pepper, and is entering its third year in a partnership with Bayer Pharmaceuticals to provide the kiosk for its conferences.
"The Real-Time Interactive Mosaic Platform 3.0 puts a new spin on the photo mosaic process, bringing people together in one artistic, interactive piece," said Al Charpentier, president of Picture Mosaics. "What separates this from any other solution is that it's built in true real-time, an industry first."
