The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles has reached a milestone of 1 million transactions through its self-service kiosks, according to a press release, underscoring growing consumer demand for faster and more convenient service options.
"Reaching one million kiosk transactions is a testament to how much Ohioans value speed, simplicity, and convenience," Registrar Charlie Norman said in the release. "Whether you renew your registration at a kiosk in minutes or take care of it from home at BMV Online Services, our goal is the same: deliver a great experience, every time."
The kiosks, located in participating retail locations and select registrar offices, allow users to complete tasks such as registration renewals in minutes. Most transactions take less than two minutes, and customers can print registrations and stickers immediately, streamlining what traditionally required a visit to a staffed office.
