Oars & Alps selects Vengo Labs kiosks to drive product sampling, customer analytics

Oars & Alps, a direct-to-consumer men's natural skin care company, has selected Vengo Labs' interactive digital kiosks to drive awareness and engagement with consumers as it continues to expand its brand recognition, according to a press release. 

Oars + Alps teamed with Vengo Labs to provide physical sampling of its products and gather digital analytics. The Chicago-based brand used Vengo's network to provide interactive sampling experiences in 100 locations across New York City gyms and co-working spaces, including WeWork. 

Vengo's network increased Oars+ Alps' brand awareness via digital screens that provided interactive engagement and opt-in surveys to drive instant trials of physical sample products. Vengo then delivered comprehensive biweekly data insight updates to Oars + Alps, including which consumers were reached at what location, a customer's history with the brand and how Oars + Alps might reach them for follow-up and re-targeting via other media. 

The data showed 75% of the samplers had never heard of, or tried, an Oars + Alps product before the campaign, but, in just two months, Vengo generated more than 2 million unique impressions and 13,000-plus active consumer engagements. Each engagement took just over one minute, meaning Vengo drove 130 hours of immersion with Oars + Alps content with active consumers. 

“Vengo has provided Oars + Alps with a unique opportunity to get our products into the hands of consumers,” Nick Rogers, media marketing manager at Oars + Alps, said in the press release. “As a growing brand, it's incredibly important to generate trials and Vengo has delivered that at scale. The fitness audience is highly sought after and the technology implemented here has given us a chance to provide the right products (at) the right time to the right consumer."
