New terminals for employee self-service debut in Chicago

At the HR Tech conference in Chicago today, Accu-Time Systems launched the Universal Series, its new line of workforce management time and attendance terminals. 

The lineup features terminals with large touchscreen displays, rugged keypads and card or biometric reader options, according to a company press release. 

The Universal Series consists of three new terminals: FLEXpoint, PEOPLEpoint and SMARTpoint. With 10- or 7-inch widescreen touch displays and a range of processors and memory, the series will operate in SaaS or on-premise environments and offers Wi-Fi, Ethernet or cellular connectivity. Multispectral, capacitive or e-Field biometric finger readers are available, as are a variety of magnetic, RFID, proximity, mag stripe and barcode card readers. The terminals include Braille lighted keypads, area LED lighting, speakers, a microphone and a video camera, according to the announcement.
