MinuteKEY, a self-service kiosk for duplicating keys, has promoted Britain White to vice president of sales/Walmart and business development, according to a press release. White, who has been with minuteKEY since 2014, will continue to lead Walmart sales and will now have an expanded role driving business development and broadening product offerings.
White brings nearly 25 years of experience in the retail and kiosk industries. He has been responsible for more than 1,000 kiosk installations and will oversee the company's effort to identify new concepts to bring to market.
Prior to joining minuteKEY in 2014, he served as director of sales and the mass channel division at Outerwall for more than 10 years and was responsible for the company's relationship with Walmart. He has worked with nearly a dozen kiosk companies during early stage and as mature operators.
"I'm eager to take on this new role and look forward to working with minuteKEY leadership to identify new concepts and grow the business," White said in the press release. "MinuteKEY has the platform, infrastructure and expertise to deliver new solutions that address the needs of today's consumer as well as our retailer partners by introducing automated solutions that enhance the bottom line. We will actively seek new ideas and concepts with strong potential to bring to market."
