GS25, a Korean convenience store, has expanded its services by offering electronic kiosks which allow users to make photocopies and send faxes. Park Eun-Jee, writer for the Korean Jooang Dailey, reported that GS25 is attempting to satisfy consumer demand for convenient access to these services.
The company plans to launch these kiosks in 10 university areas in South Korea. Students will be able to print their Test of English for International Communication(TOEIC) exam scores from the kiosks. In the future, GS25 hopes to create a mobile app to allow users to print their smartphone photos at the kiosks.
GS25 is working with Samsung electric and Korea Rental to operate and troubleshoot the kiosks.
