Kodak's new president leads company focus on retail kiosks

July 15, 2014

Nicoletta Zongrone has been hired as Kodak's president of retail systems solutions and event imaging solutions, a company announcement said.

With the appointment, the company said it intends to focus on retail methods that personalize photo products, including the creation of mobile apps and retail kiosks.

The company plans to split the Personalized Imaging business into separate divisions, with Dennis Olbrich as president of paper and output systems and film capture. Kodak said it believes this strategy will lead to greater market innovations.

Zongrone joined Kodak in 1982 and has since held various senior management positions, such as global general manager and corporate vice president of retail systems solutions from 2005-2011 at Eastman Kodak.

"I'm thrilled to join Kodak Alaris in its entrepreneurial startup phase. It's a truly unique opportunity to shape the consumer imaging experience of the future as the billions of images captured yearly continue. I look forward to working with our retailers, suppliers and strategic partners to bring our vision to life," Zongrone said in the announcement.
