Kiosk manufacturer AVT Inc. has announced it is developing a new automated retailing system for trade shows to reward participants and provide companies with customer analytics, according to a press release.
The system, known as the Trade Show Smart System, is designed to encourage visitor participation. For example, at an event, a company might ask visitors to complete a task such as sharing a photo, donating to a charity or creating a hashtag. After completing the action, the visitor can go to the TSSS to receive a gift or "swag bag."
From there, the system creates a contact database and stores the visitors' data. These machines are also integrated with social media interaction and wireless connectivity to draw in visitors.
"No matter what economic environment we are within, AVT is the undisputed leader of innovation in the automated retailing industry," said Wayne Salvino, president of AVT. "The company has been singularly responsible for some of the most important advancements in the industry."
The machines are available for rent now.
