Generation Next signs Stoelting Foodservice as kiosk manufacturing partner

February 6, 2019

Generation Next, provider of Reis & Irvy's premium soft serve robotic vending machines, has secured an interim agreement with Stoelting Foodservice, a division of the Vollrath Company LLC, under whose terms Stoelting will provide manufacturing and engineering services for Reis & Irvy's premium soft serve robotic vending technology.

Reis & Irvy's automated vending kiosks deliver up to six different flavors of frozen yogurt or ice cream with a selection of six custom toppings, all within 60 seconds at the point of sale. The patented technology is currently installed in more than 170 U.S. locations, now including 20 kiosks in Canada and Australia.

The agreement with Stoelting Foodservice states that:

  • All customized soft serve units will be manufactured in the United States.
  • All customized soft serve units will come with a five-year parts warranty, as well as two-year field warranty that includes on-site labor.
  • All Froyo robots will feature a 12-gallon hopper unit, allowing for more than 200 servings.
  • All units shipped to franchisees must be stamped by the National Sanitation Foundation, Underwriters Laboratories and the National Automated Merchandising Association.
  • Stoelting will also outfit Reis & Irvy's operators with Hydra Rinse, which uses proprietary technology to standardize the cleaning and sanitizing process. The Hydra Rinse system decreases water consumption by 50 percent, is environmentally friendly, and significantly reduces cleaning time.
